The Herman Family Olive Oil is an estate grown Tuscan Blend. The cool, foggy, coastal climate of Petaluma's gap offers an optimal climate for their Tuscan varietal trees. The family operated bijuo orchard of 75 trees consist of Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino, and Maurino trees planted on their three aces in 2012. Although not certified organic, the trees are farmed organically. The olives are handpicked and milled within the same day. At early stages, the olive oil is green and tastes of fresh cut grass, and as it ages it will turn to a delectable golden amber liquid.
